2014 rocketed by. The highlight of the year being the Writer Unboxed Unconference in Salem, MA. You can read my post here.
2015 is proving no slouch either. Filled with the drama of clients, writing, family, pets, and teaching, my world is rich and varied. Certainly, never dull.
According to AutoCrit Online Editing, a site I belong to, I have analyzed 1,274,793 words and run 522 reports since October 6, 2014. Words and reports generated in the latest draft of Weaver’s World – Winter Heart, completed September 1st and sent off to a valued friend for critiquing. Whoop, and good for me!
I plunge into the next round of edits in October.
I am honoured to be part of a strong writing community. There, and in the smaller splinter groups which meet online for brainstorming and camaraderie, I feel supported. We encourage each other in our writing time.
I began Weaver’s World years ago during a November snow-storm. Three drafts, three physical relocations, and the recreation of myself in a new career, I delight in each draft I complete.
The journey and learning never ends.
